Bears fans are in for a treat this season. The team has cooked up a fresh menu for 2024.
Levy, a Chicago-based company, is now in charge of food at Soldier Field. They’ve worked hard to make getting snacks easier and faster.
The star of the show is the Odunze dog. It’s named after rookie Rome Odunze and packs a spicy punch.
Picture a jalapeno cheddar dog wrapped in Italian beef. It’s topped with giardiniera, spicy sauce, and crunchy cheese bits.
Odunze helped create this dish, mixing his love for spicy food with his dairy farm roots.
But that’s not all. The menu is full of bear-claw shaped foods. There’s a pretzel, a cookie, and even a donut.
The donut is extra special. It comes from Do-Rite Donuts and is loaded with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and M&Ms.
Getting food should be quicker this year. New self-checkout stands are set up around the stadium.
Levy thinks fans will get back to their seats three times faster than before.
The Bears’ CEO, Kevin Warren, is excited about more than just the food. He sees it as part of making game day better for everyone.
The team wants fans to have a great time from kickoff to the final whistle.
Soldier Field’s new chef, Ryan Craig, is living his dream. He’s a lifelong Bears fan and now he gets to cook for the team and its supporters.
He’s put a lot of thought into each dish, trying to capture the spirit of Chicago and the excitement of the new season.
Fans can try all these new treats starting September 8th. That’s when the Bears play their first home game against the Tennessee Titans.
It’ll be a chance to see if the new food is as good as the action on the field.
