  • 1 Cup Bread Flour

  • 1 Packet Instant Yeast (7g)

  • 1.5 Tsp White Sugar

  • 3/4 Tsp Salt

  • 1/2 Tbsp Garlic Powder

  • 2 Tbsp EVOO

  • 3/4 Cup Warm Water

Directions

  • In a bowl combine 1 cup AP flour with 1 packet of instant yeast, 1.5 tsp white sugar, 3/4 tsp salt, 2 tbsp EVOO.
  • Slowly add your warm water and begin mixing with a wooden spoon.
  • Then start adding your other 1 cup of bread flour.
  • Mix until dough ball is smooth.
  • Grab another bowl and grease with some olive oil or vegetable oil.
  • Put dough ball into greased bowl and toss around so all sides are covered in oil.
  • Cover with saran wrap or a damp wash cloth and allow to proof for at least 30 minutes.
  • Wait for dough ball to double in size. Then punch dough to degas and use.
  • I like to heat the oven to 425F for 20 minutes.

Notes

  • Using only AP flour with create a softer dough. A 50/50 will create a soft + crisp dough. Using only bread flour will create a crispier crust. Add more flour as needed in this recipe until dough ball is smooth.
